The Vision

Hosted during NYFW, Social China is a globally LIVE broadcasted social media event to provide a platform to bring brands, influencers, KOLs, artists together. It fosters opportunities for brands to create exposure and target audience in China through collaborations with hundreds of international influencers, KOLs. We are committed to chart new phase of growth for business and capture the next generation in this market niche. The event will also interview industrial leaders, entrepreneurs, curators, institutions to share insights, fresh ideas about the current marketing trend and What’s next for China.

Taking place at an alternative art space in lower east side, New York City with conceptually-driven, experience-driven, high-tech implemented atmosphere. Each participated brand will be assigned to an area to set up a creative showcase. Art installations will be exhibited to support arising pop art artists.

About the Featured Artist

Chris Riggs for Mayor is contemporary New York City artist, whose art works are based on a unique combination of cubism, abstract, surrealism, minimalism, pop and street art has made him a leading artist of his generation. He curated over 200 art shows all around the world and his paintings and sculptures are in museums, galleries, and private collections in over 50 countries. Riggs has collaborated with Mr. Brainwash during Art Basel in Wynwood, Miami, and Kenny Scharf in Williamsburg, New York City in 2012. He also commissioned for the iconic Bloomindale’s 59th St window display and installations.

Chris Riggs for Mayor was born in Manhattan, New York in 1973, and studied painting and political science at New York’s City College and Columbia University, New York. He lives and works in Miami and New York. He began his career painting when he was three years old with his grandfather who was from Italy. At age 11, Chris’ medium was aerosol, painting murals in the abandoned buildings and train tunnels of New York City. At age 17, Chris traded in his spray cans for a paint brush. Since the mid-1990s, Chris Riggs has been making complex abstract paintings and sculptures.
